About us

Emma the grower Ellesse the florist a mother and daughter team with over 10 years’ experience within the industry (The Darling Buds of Wade) are based in the village of St Nicholas at Wade by the banks of the Wantsum Channel in Thanet Kent. 

We grow and design British seasonal flowers for weddings, events and sympathy arrangements too local customers. Our flowers are all sustainably grown in St Nicholas at Wade and are picked to order. We only use peat free compost and recyclable or biodegradable wrapping. 

Specialising in bespoke Dahlia arrangements both fresh and dried. We also offer Dahlia DIY wedding flower buckets. This year we have planted and raised in excess of 200 Dahlias all grown and sourced in the UK, these include some incredible Dinner Plate varieties. We also grow a wide selection of David Austin roses and of course many other seasonal flowers and grasses to complement our range.
