About Us
Welcome To The Darling Buds Of Wade
We are a family-run flower farm and florist in St Nicholas at Wade, Kent. We grow and arrange seasonal British flowers using sustainable, chemical-free, peat-free methods.
Our journey began when my daughter, a florist, became disheartened by the fast-paced imported flower industry. Inspired by the British flower movement, I decided to grow the flowers she needed myself.
I cleared my vegetable plot, planted my first cut flowers, and what started as a small garden experiment quickly blossomed. Today, we are proud to be growing on a farm, producing sustainable, field-grown flowers for weddings, events, bouquet's and flower subscriptions — all freshly picked to order and inspired by the beauty of the English country garden.
